Bone Support Formula
Bone Support Formula is made with whole bone calcium, which is a natural, bone-derived calcium complex that contains not only calcium, but also collagen, growth factors, trace minerals, and all of the other elements that are present in healthy bone tissue. It would be expected to affect the body more like dietary calcium than like a more common carbonate or citrate calcium supplement which carries an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (heart attack and stroke) as well as an increased prostate cancer risk and an increase in kidney stones.

Healthy bone formation also depends on vitamin D and vitamin K2, both of which regulate calcium metabolism. There are also other minerals besides calcium involved in supporting bone health, such as silica and magnesium. Bone Support Formula contains vitamin D, vitamin K2, as well as magnesium.
HOW IT WORKS: Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite (MCHA) is a compound that makes up the crystalline matrix of bone and teeth, and is the substance that gives them their rigidity.* MCHA consists of highly absorbable calcium and phosphorus, which are the major mineral components of bone.* Bone Support Formula is a comprehensive bone support product that includes magnesium and trace minerals, as well as vitamins C, D and K2 to aid in the synthesis and maintenance of healthy bone tissue.*
SUGGESTED USAGE: 4 capsules daily with food, preferably in divided doses.

CAUTION / INTERACTIONS: For adults only. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Bone Support Formula. Some ingredients in this product may interact with certain medications. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition.
Do not use if you have any of the following conditions: alcoholism, allergy to carrots, allergy to nicotine, kidney disease or problems with kidney function, low potassium levels (hypokalemia), low thiamine levels (thiamine deficiency), a hormone-sensitive condition such as breast cancer, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, endometriosis, or uterine fibroids.
Do not use if taking Lithium. Lithium interacts with the ingredient Horsetail. Horsetail might have an effect like a water pill or "diuretic" which might decrease how well the body gets rid of lithium. This could increase how much lithium is in the body and result in serious side effects.
Do not use if taking Estrogens. Estrogens interact with the ingredient Boron. Boron might act like estrogen. Boron might increase estrogen levels in the body which might cause too much estrogen in the body. If you have any condition that might be made worse by exposure to estrogen, avoid supplemental boron or high amounts of boron from foods.
This supplement may lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Watch for signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and monitor your blood sugar carefully if you have diabetes and use Bone Support Formula.
